Farewell, 26
It’s been a wild ride
Learned a thing or two
Danced amongst the tide

Shooting stars in Cabo
Bonfires in San Diego
Bone chilling night mountain rides
Poolside nude shroomin, summer fuego

Solidified some ride or dies
Like with an extra special alien
I’d steal the Mona Lisa if she desired
Her presence especially salient

Danced for black birds
Cawed and crawled under brush
Collected feathers and deep breaths
The moon became my deepest crush

Full moon ceremonies
Shared christ consciousness
Debated and cried tears of laughter
Fought for a cause justice

Buddhism and hedonism
Embraced vast ends of the spectrum
Spiritual teachings in the morning
Serpent energy in the rectum

Cried, accepted
Travel, trained
Laughed, wondered
Witnessed, became

The best year of my life to date
And there are no glass ceilings
More dimensions to be explored
New people and feelings

If the next 365 days around the sun
Is anything like the last
I’m more prepared than ever
This lifetime is a BLAST
